  1. Absolutely appalling customer service! I bought a car from Arnold Clark scotswood road Newcastle in April and I took out the service plan for £279. My car recently got stolen and they are refusing to refund me or transfer the voucher over onto my new car. This has just added to the amount of stress caused by what has happened. It’s not an everyday occurrence getting your car stolen. Would not recommend anyone buys from here if this is how they treat customers.

Visited my local branch today in Stoke-on-Trent after visiting Fiat in newcastle under-lyme, I had a lovely no pressure salesman at Fiat and I was feeling really good about buying a car after visiting Fiat, so I thought I would just call in my local Arnold Clark’s to see what they have in ? WHAT A STUPID MISTAKE,,,,,,, I arrived pulled up and within 30 seconds of getting out of my car the salesman was there. I was interested in a Mokka, so out of politeness I asked about one, I ran through the figures and the APR was actually 8% and he tried to talk it down to 4.2% ????? alarm bells. I was not happy and stated I will think about it and let him know,,,, reply what will change your mind to make a deal today,,,,, I said nothing I would like to think about it,,,, he said hang on whilst I speak to my manager. This is a tactic sales men use to close deals. My manager says cause we have sold 19 cars today we will do you a better deal. WHY NOT DO A GOOD DEAL ANYWAY NUGGET,,,,,,,,, never ever again will I have a vauxhall if they are using tactics like this ,,,,,,, so much better when it was a genuine vauxhall dealership.

Don’t use them ,they are really keen to take lots of money from you for very little .you could possibly say imaginative work they say is required.SO DON’T USE THEM CHECK REVIEW SITES ON THEM?.nice show rooms plenty of suited and booted staff free coffee,papers who pays for that,one of the highest labour charges in central Scotland ???

Do not buy a Service Plan from Arnold Clark – I did, believing that I would keep the 18 month old car for a long time, however, it needs money spent, suggesting that little had been done to it at the point when I bought it. Needed its 10k service before I had even drive 7k. Add in the poor attitude of staff who cannot receive constructive criticism – I am selling it. So I enquired about getting a refund for the 2nd service which I had paid for – NO Refund, NOT able to transfer the service to a new owner and NOT able to do the service early – as the “System” doesn’t allow that. I formally complained – quick response – telling me I should have read the lengthy T+C’s (which were emailed over to me afterwards). Might be legal – BUT it is not fair and reasonable

  5. A fantastic company who really do care about their customers. I purchased my car at Inverness with a service plan.everything has gone smoothly.. They are friendly efficient and welcoming. There must be many organisations that could learn a thing or two from them.the service reception remembered me from a year ago…. impressive !! Totally reliable and trustworthy
