Launched in 2006, The Peter Vardy Group is a family run automotive business operating across Scotland. Our Retail business has 15 physical dealerships, and we are proud to represent exceptional marques such Porsche, Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW and MINI. CARZ is our own brand of used car supermarkets, currently located in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Kirkcaldy, Motherwell and Perth. Peter Vardy Heritage, our classic car dealership, located in Edinburgh showcases some of the most iconic cars in recent history. In 2020 we opened our new state-of-the-art head office, Vardy Central which is home to our Digital Sales Division and our central support functions.
Also part of the Peter Vardy Group are our digital businesses. CarMoney the online finance broker who work with some of the biggest names in the industry and SilverBullet is the software provider of choice for the automotive industry, who supported many groups during the 2020 lockdown by providing them a platform to be able to switch their operations to online whilst their dealerships were closed.
In April 2021 we launched our Peter Vardy Leasing business, providing industry leading leasing offers across all manufacturers for both personal and business contract hire.
Our aim is to be the Best Place to Work and the Best Place to Buy, with us winning awards in both areas in recent years. Following the Covid Pandemic it has never been more important to look after our colleagues with our focus being our their Mental, Physical, Financial and Spiritual Wellbeing. I booked my car in for a service in Edinburgh. All went well.I also arranged for my car to be collected and took some time off work. i got an e mail it would be picked up between 8.30 and 11 a.m Then got a text reminder and a call the night before. Only trouble is they never turned up. The person in service suggest I hide my car keys in the garden!!! 11.30 now and leaving for work. Do not trust them
Should be ashamed !!! I went to the car store mainly due to the fact after years of first class outstanding service from Arnold Clark sadly they did not have the car I wanted in stock I regularly change my car as I have the funds to choose to do this and never had any issues in doing so I decided to take a chance and use Peter Vardy and my God was that the worst mistake of my life ! After buying a Mercedes that was well and truly overpriced and forced to take added extras that cost a fortune due to not feeling safe after a few weeks driving the car I called them and traded it back in for another Obviously I lost out on money I was aware of this and was my choice After buying new car that was once again overpriced this one was faulty and again really did not suit at all due to physical back issues also I called and was told they would look into it and after a sharade of calls and various passed from one to another went back in an got again overpriced car but felt I had no option but to return to the same dealer as they sold the car a week before and hoped it could be resolved ! To cut a long story short when making another enquiry I was told they were a family company and would refuse to sell me another car in a period of a year To say I was mortified is not a joke how the hell can a car store turn away a cash yes cash sale for no damn good reason ???? There rejecting business from a damn good future customer that has no financial problems and a good driving license etc There reason Cause I had more than one car in two months l! Hello check the reasons ! Seriously this company is a joke and I intend to make it known and take this matter to a national paper
great welcome allocated the person I dealt with as salesman picked the car we wanted made it easy to buy. on collecting car the other person I dealt with had all paper work ready unveiled our little smart car nice and gleaming thank you all who dealt with us .
Terrible service travelled 200miles round journey to look at car as per phone call got there car sold looked at another needed work so travelled back expecting it to be ready to take away wasn’t went for lunch at there say they would pay [still waiting]made 4 calls told they would call back still waiting don’t need money just the principle anyway down again car ready did not notice till driving home brown stains all over roof inside car then had look about it was obvious it had not been valeted sent e mail about all this got one call from sales person said he would phone back as my husband wasn’t in still waiting so I certainly would not recommend this company to friends or family wont deal with them again
