About company:
COSS is a young cryptocurrency exchange that was registered in 2017. It is not included in the TOP-100 of the Coinmarketcap rating, its turnover is at an average level. KOSS provides an over-the-counter trading platform and news service. It also has its own COS token. There are a lot of reviews on the web about coss.io, and they are seriously different. Therefore, we decided to make a detailed review of the cryptocurrency exchange, consider its functionality and understand the opinions of users about the company. Overview of the site “KOSS” There is no Russian-language version on the site, so the company is not very popular in the CIS countries. On the main page, COSS advertises its own token and commission in favor of traders. There are six items in the top menu: “Cryptocurrency Exchange”; public api; “Commissions”; “Entrance”; “Registration”; “Language Selection”.
Excellent, now (11 february 2018) this exchange has become much faster than before. It’s still in beta, but the engine will soon be completely changed and the UI will be updated. Fee a bit ‘high, but soon will be introduced fiat currencies and changes are made daily to improve everything, so I’m confident.
I invested currency with coss.io a few years ago. I purchased the exchange coins which paid dividends in the form of exchanged tokens. This was so I didn’t have to monitor my tokens every day. Since then it has been taken over by new management.
I was unable to access my account for over a year because they were making changes to their system. I finally got tired of waiting for them to finish what they were doing so I opted to “skip the line” as they call it.
I was given access to the exchange but had no tokens available at all. They explained that the coss tokens were phased out for a different token (I don’t know why they wouldn’t just exchange the tokens automatically instead of just dropping them, any one who had these tokens have lost their investment).
Fine, so I lost my coss coins. I asked what happened to the other tokens I was receiving as passive income from staking the coss coins. They passed the buck, below is their response:
Hi,
It appears you had the old COSS tokens which were phased out by the previous management in 2019.
The swap window for COSS to COS has ended in November 2019. The previous COSS team extended it twice to give even more time to the token holders.
The new COSS team have no access to the token contract or records related to swaps. There is nothing we can do to swap those tokens.
